Our Purpose
The DWGCPSAAA is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational or scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. No part of the net earnings of this organization shall inure to the benefit of or be distributed to its members, trustees, officers, or other private persons, except that this organization shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make paymentsand distribution in furtherance of these purposes.
Our Mission
The mission and objectives of the DWGCPSAAA shall be:
a. to present and promote a continuing positive image of all law enforcement, but specifically the Dalworthington Gardens Department of Public Safety (hereinafter “DWG DPS”) and its constitutionally mandated function;
b. to support and assist the DWG DPS by lessening their burdens;
c. to advance, foster and promote the DWGCPSAAA;
d. to conduct the affairs, carry on its operation, and have an office within the City of DWG to exercise the purposes defined herein;
e. to foster a positive image of the DWG DPS and citizens of the City of DWG;
f. to encourage continuing education and training; and
g. to conduct or engage in any lawful act or activity for which the DWGCPSAAA has been organized under the Non-Profit Act of the State of Texas in furtherance of these purposes, or incidental thereto, except as prohibited in the Articles of Incorporation or these Bylaws.
